Nas - Made Nas Proud

This has to be the best thing that's happened in hip hop for a while. As you all know, Born Sinner dropped on Tuesday and J Cole featured a song on there called "Let Nas Down" about how he wasn't able to live up to the hype of being the new chosen one on his first album. Well, the song is pretty dope (and you should all go buy the album) but anyway, in true legendary fashion, Nas himself decided to hop on the song and release it today. Nas' version makes me feel so proud for J Cole and so happy to hear Nas bless a track once more.  Take a listen below.

Shawn K - Ice Cream Mondays (Album)

It's still up for debate whether Shawn K dropped Ice Cream Mondays on a Monday or a Tuesday but either way it's some suburban dopeness. We got Kendrick Lamar's album and Shawn K's ICM in the same week. Great week for music my children. The Philly/Jersey/Brooklyn artist has been prepping the album for quite some time and it's finally out for you pole splitting strippers ... I mean that in the nicest way possible.

Charles Hamilton - StH4: Shadow The Hamilton

The hardest working man in show bizz... Just after releasing "I Always Die In Brooklyn" about 2 days ago, Charles Hamilton provides us with a full length project (i'd say album) titled StH: Shadow the Hamilton. The fourth piece to his Sonic The Hamilton series. The project even includes some instrumentals for all you duders who like rapping on people's beats  :-(  made me think of the whole London Keyes and Das Racist situation.... Jarett G - "Heart Pains" (Valentines Day Collection)
