Shawn K all day til the, til the, til the... Ummm.. Anyway, Shawn K took to SoundCloud last night on his birthday and released this track "Return Of The Nice Guys". It sounds like a booty mover but he's talking about some pretty heartbreaking chizz like being left at prom and homecoming :-(    I can kinda relate because I was at the grocery store yesterday and there was only one family box of Frosted Flakes left but I still got away safely without dying of any serious lung damage. Finally!!! The Brooklyn trio Capital Ode, Shawn K and Mouse Sucks have released their joint EP "Where's Jarett?"... It's supposedly an attempt to find their lost friend Jarett. Lord knows where he is and why he dresses like Waldo but hopefully they find him. If you were tuned in to earlier episodes of whatever show this is, then you've heard "No Love" and "Two Boob Theory" but the other tracks on the tape are definitely worth a listen as well. And there may or may not be a surprise or two in there somewhere... Check it out  :-)

Brooklyn trio Capital Ode, Shawn K and Mouse Sucks released another single from their upcoming project the "Where's Jarett?" EP that's slated to release on December 20th. The track's title is "Two Boob Theory"...... I was never taught this in school  :-(   Why don't these guys teach at my school? I'd take their class every semester!!! Talking about boobs is amazing and not only did they do a great job of making a boob song, they also covered lots of ground in other areas.... Don't ask me what areas but know that they did... *looks around*.. Would you just listen to the damn song already? Geesh

It's still up for debate whether Shawn K dropped Ice Cream Mondays on a Monday or a Tuesday but either way it's some suburban dopeness. We got Kendrick Lamar's album and Shawn K's ICM in the same week. Great week for music my children. The Philly/Jersey/Brooklyn artist has been prepping the album for quite some time and it's finally out for you pole splitting strippers ... I mean that in the nicest way possible.

Shawn K's debut hip hop album "Ice Cream Mondays" is supposed to drop tonight and just as a topping, he's released a video for his song "20 Piece" shot by Jason Druss. The song is pretty hilarious but has serious intentions.... Doesn't he sound like Will Smith? lol. Go get your Ice Cream and your 20 piece nuggets (not now but at 2 AM).. And enjoy the video. Jay Z reveals 1st single from the Blueprint 4 album

"It was written by the staff in the land where the past exists"..... Random words I put together to work with my imaginary version of the single that Jay Z says will be released on October 14th. The song is called "No Love" and apparently features 3 other Brooklyn artists Capital Ode, Mouse Sucks and Shawn K . Look out for Jigga man's new single. Guess all those shows at the Barclay center got him ready for more music
