This is Mouse Sucks' very first musical motion picture titled "Sara's Got It (Yard Sale)". It's more of a horror flick with limited dialogue. The movie is centered around a young prostitute named Sara (maybe Sara Bareilles)..... Anyway, one night Sara ends up with some sleezy customer who wants more than what he's paying for. It's still up for debate whether Shawn K dropped Ice Cream Mondays on a Monday or a Tuesday but either way it's some suburban dopeness. We got Kendrick Lamar's album and Shawn K's ICM in the same week. Great week for music my children. The Philly/Jersey/Brooklyn artist has been prepping the album for quite some time and it's finally out for you pole splitting strippers ... I mean that in the nicest way possible.

It's definitely Ice Cream Monday. Shawn K's debut hip hop album "Ice Cream Mondays" is supposed to drop tonight and just as a topping, he's released a video for his song "20 Piece" shot by Jason Druss. The song is pretty hilarious but has serious intentions.... Doesn't he sound like Will Smith? lol. Go get your Ice Cream and your 20 piece nuggets (not now but at 2 AM).. And enjoy the video. Also stay awake because Shawn K's dropping the album tonight.

Mice People - "And Then They Played Sonic" (Album)

Mice People is back with their sophmore album on SoundCloud Records titled "And Then They Played Sonic". The title is paying respect to former Interscope artist Charles Hamilton who released a mixtape called "And Then They Played Dilla" which was paying respect to the late great J Dilla... A long series of paying respect lol. Mice People's debut album "Bent Out Of Shape" did a good job of introducing the band to the world and allowing them to establish themselves as this edgy but soulful collective. Although this album doesn't include the executive producing genius of Jay Z and 50 Cent like the debut, "And Then They Played Sonic" is just as edgy but alot more politically opinionated. On the song "Shame On Romney", Mice People bashes the Presidential Candidate and also on the song "Blu Cantrell", Mice People speaks on the situation of Jay Z's relationship with Blu Cantrell and naming his daughter with Beyonce after Blu.... Bold... A personal favorite on the album would have to be the song "Ill WIll". Mice People's ability to sneak songs like this onto edgy projects is just amazing. On October 6th, Jay Z took the train to his final show at the Barclay center in Brooklyn and had New Yorkers flipping out and following him. That's pretty cool. Apparently he brought out Beyonce for the final night as well  :-)   Nothing better than Beyonce

Charles Hamilton dropped another series of projects, this song comes from "As A Street Rat" and he's dissing the most unlikeable people in music. See why this guy is a hero? No further comments on how lame Odd Future and all of Maybach Music is.... Charles also says "I can't wait for this season of Idol. Mariah gone get the fire smacked out of her by my rival"... The song is called "No Love" and apparently features 3 other Brooklyn artists Capital Ode, Mouse Sucks and Shawn K . Look out for Jigga man's new single. Guess all those shows at the Barclay center got him ready for more music
